The Bounce House Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we aim to provide flexibility when your plans change. However, to ensure fairness and maintain the availability of our services for all customers, the following cancellation policy is in place:
1. Cancellation by the Hirer
More Than 7 Days Before the Event: If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before your event date, you will receive a full refund, minus any processing fees (if applicable).
Less Than 7 Days Before the Event: If you cancel within 7 days of the event, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. The remaining balance will be refunded.
Less Than 48 Hours Before the Event: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable but we will do a store credit for you to use on a booking at another date. We recommend confirming your booking details well in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.
2. Cancellation Due to Weather Conditions
Rain or Wind: We understand that weather can be unpredictable. If adverse weather conditions, such as heavy rain or wind speeds of 30 km/h or more are forecasted on the day of your event, we will need to cancel for safety reasons. In such cases, you will have the option to either reschedule your booking or receive a full refund.
Decision on Weather Cancellations: Weather cancellations will be made by The Bounce House on the morning of the event based on the latest weather forecast. If the equipment has already been set up and the weather conditions change, we reserve the right to stop the event and request that the inflatable be deflated for safety reasons.
3. No-Show or Late Arrival
No Show: If the Hirer is not present at the scheduled time of delivery or does not respond to our delivery team, the booking may be cancelled, and a 50% fee of the total rental price will be charged.
Late Arrival: If the event is delayed by more than 30 minutes from the agreed setup time, The Bounce House reserves the right to reduce the duration of the hire period. No compensation will be offered for lost time due to delays.
4. Rescheduling Your Event
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your event more than 7 days in advance, you can do so with no additional fee, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a new date.
